About the Director

Aimee's wide range of experience spans 17 years and began at quite a young age. She has studied with the best vocal coaches in the State of Utah: Dean Kaelin, George Dyer, Jim Christian, Ken Plain, Laurie Vandegrift and more. Singing has always been a driving force in her life and her passion for the voice led her to not only study singing for herself, but to share her knowledge.

Aimee was privileged to attend Weber State University on a full tuition performing arts scholarship where she received many rich experiences in the Musical Theater department. Since then, Aimee has performed professionally and semi-professionally on stage, in film and in commercials. You may have seen her on TV a while back as the "Hertz Girl," or she may have found her way into your heart already in Liken the Scriptures "Esther and the King" as Maiden Harriet.

Aimee began teaching voice in 2003 and has been enjoyably teaching voice for over 8 years. Her students have successfully found their way into leading roles, professional opportunities, recording studios and also just plain fun and fulfillment through music. Aimee seeks to offer the most correct vocal technique available and is proud to be a full member of IVTOM: International Voice Teachers of Mix. IVTOM is an organization that promotes the healthy teaching of "Mix" vocal technique and provides ongoing instruction and mentoring for members.
